General Laborer @ Aerotek

Job Title: General LaborerWest Palm Beach, FloridaJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Field Service Laborer who will be responsible for assisting with the delivery and set-up of pump equipment at client sites. This role involves loading, unloading, delivering, and setting up pump equipment and accessories, ensuring safe travel and accurate delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by ensuring all pumping equipment and accessories are delivered or picked up.
• Ensure equipment being delivered and/or picked up is loaded on the truck for safe over-the-road travel.
• Review all items being delivered or picked up with the customer to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Document logs of mileage and deliveries.
• Assist in the set-up of pumping equipment.
• Deliver and set up rental pumps with customer assistance.
• Instruct customers on equipment operation and answer their questions.
• Conduct breakdown and pick-up of rental equipment with customer assistance.
• Account for and determine the condition of all rental equipment returned to the branch.
• Perform daily on-site service calls to diagnose and repair minor service issues.
• Participate in a 24/7 emergency on-call service schedule as assigned.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of driving experience.
• 1+ years of mechanical experience.
• Experience with pump assembly and maintenance.
• Ability to use hand tools and read blueprints.
• Troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Basic understanding of electronics and wiring.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Willingness to correctly set up equipment.
• Basic mechanical ability with knowledge of diesel-powered equipment.
• Good sense of direction and ability to read a map.
• Experience with loading or unloading construction equipment.
• Ability to complete simple repairs and oil changes.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Palm Beach, FL.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
