Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionThis role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding industrial production machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment. The Maintenance Technician ensures reliable operation of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems to support safe and efficient production.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild industrial production machinery and equipment to maintain optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Perform mechanical repairs on gearboxes, motors, chains, sprockets, cylinders, servo motors, conveyors, and related components.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, including hoses, cylinders, and associated components, to ensure proper operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic systems, including valves, hoses, and actuators.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting on 480V systems and 3-phase motors, including identifying and resolving faults safely and efficiently.
- Diagnose and repair issues with sensors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), drives, and electrical control panels.
- Troubleshoot PLCs, relays, relay logic, and electrical wiring using a multimeter and other diagnostic tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Controls experience with PLC troubleshooting, including ladder logic, parameter edits, relays, timers, and switches.
- Exposure to robotic troubleshooting.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs in a manufacturing setting.
- Comfort using multimeters and other electrical diagnostic tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift with applicable shift differentials.

The position operates on 2nd shift with a shift differential, or 3rd shift with a shift differential. The work involves regular interaction with industrial machinery, electrical systems up to 480V, 3-phase motors, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, PLCs, VFDs, and potentially robotics and Allen-Bradley controls. Uniforms are provided as part of the standard dress code.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $85280.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.-Career Path Program - Provides plans for career progression with employees.
