General Laborer @ Aerotek

Job Title: General Laborer Warehouse OperationsJob DescriptionThis role supports daily warehouse operations by loading, unloading, sorting, and palletizing products to ensure efficient movement of materials throughout the facility. The General Laborer works on a 2nd shift schedule and contributes to order fulfillment, inventory movement, and overall warehouse organization while following all safety procedures and productivity standards.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products from trailers and containers safely and efficiently.
• Sort, label, and palletize materials for storage or shipment according to instructions.
• Assist with order fulfillment and shipment preparation to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
• Perform general warehouse cleanup and organization to maintain a safe and orderly work area.
• Hand-stack products and wrap pallets securely for transport.
• Support inventory and material movement activities throughout the warehouse.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and guidelines at all times.
• Work as part of a team to meet or exceed daily productivity goals.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors to coordinate tasks and resolve issues.
• Adhere to work instructions and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.

Essential Skills

• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or general labor experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong work ethic with reliable and consistent attendance.
• Ability to follow directions accurately and work independently when needed.
• Willingness and flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift frequently for the duration of the shift.

Work EnvironmentThis position is based inside a warehouse environment on the 2nd shift, typically from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. You will work on your feet for most of the shift, with frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting. The facility environment may vary in temperature, and you should be comfortable working in these conditions while performing physical tasks and handling materials throughout the shift. Standard warehouse equipment and tools are used to support safe and efficient material handling.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond Hill, GA.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
