Responsibilities
- Test Planning & Design
- Plan test scenarios and acceptance criteria based on software design specifications, and author comprehensive Test Plans and Test Cases.
- Set up and maintain test environments while supporting test planning and workflow optimization.
- Test Execution & Verification
- Execute Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Exploratory Testing, and Usability / User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Perform manual testing, analyze ADB logs, and identify and report software bugs.
- Participate in test automation, as well as maintain and update test scripts.
- Bug Tracking & Quality Management
- Identify, record, analyze, and report software defects (Bugs); track fix progress with the development team and perform re-testing verification.
- Participate in requirement reviews and technical discussions to assess potential risks, collaborating cross-functionally with PMs, SAs, and Developers to resolve issues.
- Reporting & On-site Support
- Analyze and synthesize test execution data to write comprehensive Test Reports.
- Provide on-site services at client locations based on project requirements.
Qualifications
- Work Experience: 1+ years of practical experience in software testing, with a strong familiarity with the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and bug management workflows.
- Testing Skills: Ability to independently design test cases, execute tests, analyze issues, and write test reports.
- Platform & Tool Experience: Experience with Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems; proficiency in at least one programming language (C/C++, Java, or Python); hands-on capability in ADB log troubleshooting and issue diagnostics.
- Collaboration & Communication: Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate issue scenarios, reproduction steps, and impact scope.
- Work Attitude: Highly responsible and proactive; able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team; willing to provide on-site client support as required by project needs.
Preferred
- Willingness to learn or existing experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium) and script writing.
- Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman, Swagger) or performance testing tools (JMeter, etc.).
