About the Team
The CTO BI Development & Reporting team is responsible for developing and supporting enterprise BI and reporting solutions, including Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, SQL-based data integration, and executive dashboards. We partner across global teams to deliver reliable reporting, automation, data integration, and ongoing production support.
Your key responsibilities
- The position works primarily with Microsoft Power BI, SQL-based data sources, Power Query/M, DAX, semantic models, and Microsoft Fabric/Lakehouse technologies.
- The Administrator Senior, Systems role is responsible for developing, enhancing, supporting, and maintaining enterprise business intelligence and reporting solutions.
- The role partners with business stakeholders, data owners, and technical teams to deliver reporting solutions, validate data, troubleshoot issues, and support reporting applications through development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- The position supports both executive-facing and operational reporting and requires strong technical troubleshooting, data analysis, documentation, and communication
What you bring
- 4 - 6 years of hands-on experience developing and supporting Power BI or comparable enterprise BI/reporting solutions.
- Strong experience developing and supporting Microsoft Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Develop, enhance, test, publish, and support Microsoft Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Develop and maintain Power BI data transformations, DAX calculations and reporting logic, semantic-model integrations, and data refresh configurations.
- Work with SQL-based data sources to query and validate data, investigate discrepancies, and support reporting and transformation requirements.
- Troubleshoot data and reporting issues, including mappings, transformations, calculations, refresh failures, filters, and report behavior.
- Perform source-to-report data validation and reconciliation to ensure reporting results accurately reflect underlying source data.
- Investigate data-quality issues and work with upstream data owners and technical teams to identify and resolve problems affecting reporting.
- Support reporting solutions through development, UAT, and production environments, including testing and validation prior to production deployment.
- Perform post-deployment validation, including verification of data refreshes, calculations, report pages, filters, and overall report functionality.
- Support production reporting incidents by performing technical analysis, identifying root causes, coordinating with appropriate teams, and validating resolution.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, evaluate requested changes, develop solutions, coordinate testing, and support production readiness.
- Ability to translate business requirements into effective technical reporting and data solutions.
- Maintain development, UAT, and QA tracking information for reporting enhancements and production changes.
- Create and maintain technical and functional documentation for reporting solutions, data sources, dependencies, business rules, and support procedures.
- Work Time 1.30pm - 10.30pm/11.00pm
