About this role
The Impact You'll Make As a Maintenance Engineer, you will help keep our plant safe, reliable, and efficient by ensuring machinery, equipment, and utilities are maintained to a high standard. Your work will directly support production continuity by reducing equipment downtime, improving maintenance effectiveness, and ensuring critical systems are available when needed. You will also contribute to energy conservation, cost optimization, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with Production, external service providers, and other stakeholders to improve plant performance.
- What You’ll Be Doing Execute and improve preventive and breakdown maintenance for plant machinery and equipment, while monitoring downtime, MTBF, MTTR, and maintenance effectiveness.
- Support the reliable operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, building, and utility systems, including ETP, STP, and firefighting systems.
- Ensure critical spares and consumables are available, support AMC activities, and coordinate effectively with contractors and external service providers.
- Contribute to energy conservation, power consumption monitoring, failure analysis, root-cause problem solving, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and help ensure compliance with safety procedures, statutory inspections, applicable management-system requirements, and maintenance audits.
- What We're Looking For A Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant engineering discipline.
- Approximately 6–10 years of relevant plant maintenance experience , with practical exposure to preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Working knowledge of plant machinery, utilities, electrical and/or mechanical systems, maintenance tools, critical spares, and consumables.
- An understanding of equipment troubleshooting, maintenance safety practices, and applicable statutory maintenance requirements.
- Good problem-solving, supervisory, teamwork, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience supporting energy conservation, failure analysis, utility maintenance, Kaizen, or manufacturing continuous improvement activities would be an advantage.
