- Job Overview Analyzes and develops logistics plans to control the movement of commodities from storage to distribution and to ensure the smooth running of operations.
- Job Requirements Assisting in the development of process flows to track lead time by activity and identifying opportunities to reduce lead times.
- Identifying opportunities for improvements including cost, quality, and service of customer needs and issues.
- Implementing and maintaining monitoring systems to provide information on shipment status, shipped date, in transit location, estimated arrival date, and actual delivery date.
- Generating and analyzing reports of transportation costs and carrier performance.
- Planning and tracking lead times including compliance with related regulations.
- What your background should look like Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 8 years of experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level
