About the Role
As a Retail Stocker, you’ll play an important role in keeping our retail operations running smoothly behind the scenes. You will help ensure our stores and stockrooms are organized, accurately stocked, clean, and ready to support seamless daily operations.
From receiving and replenishing merchandise to maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting urgent store requests, you’ll work closely with the Retail Operations team to ensure products are available when and where they are needed. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, pays close attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate inventory counts and help maintain correct stock levels.
- Receive and verify stock replenishments from the warehouse to support uninterrupted retail operations.
- Process inventory counts, internal transfers, spoilage transactions, and related inventory documentation.
- Support inventory discrepancy checks, spot checks, and stock control activities.
- Assist Retail Operations colleagues with urgent orders, stock requests, and internal transfers.
- Support cashiers with price checks, barcodes, and product replacements when required.
- Keep stores and stockrooms clean, organized, replenished, and free from hazards.
- Safely operate equipment such as ladders, pallet jacks, trolleys, and buggies.
- Communicate inventory concerns, store operational needs, and visual merchandising requests to the team.
- Participate in team briefings and training sessions and support colleagues in achieving team objectives.
- Maintain professional standards and stay informed about products, promotions, and Miral values.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Higher secondary education or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of inventory processes.
- Moderate verbal communication skills.
- Physical ability to carry and lift items and safely operate required equipment.
- Previous inventory experience is an advantage but is not mandatory.
Desirable
- Previous experience in inventory or stock-related operations.
- Experience using inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of inventory processes.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
