About this role
- Assist with sanding, grinding, and welding support activities
- Set up and operate grinder/sander equipment per specifications
- Perform basic measurements and quality checks on parts
- Maintain safe, efficient production flow and support team operations
- Follow all safety guidelines, procedures, and supervisor instructions
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Operate grinding and sanding equipment to prepare and finish parts
- Support weldline operations to ensure production goals are met
- Inspect parts using measuring tools for accuracy and quality standards
- Lift, move, and handle materials up to 50 lbs
- Stand and work for extended periods (up to 12 hours) in varying conditions
- Work flexible schedules, including overtime or shift work as required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic computer skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Familiarity with measuring devices for diameter checks preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work in a team environment
- Ability to adapt to changing production needs and schedules
