Bristlecone India Limited is seeking a seasoned SAP ABAP Specialist to join our S4 HANA Technical – Delivery team. The role involves designing, developing, and enhancing ABAP solutions across SAP ECC and S/4HANA landscapes, ensuring high‑quality custom applications and seamless integration with the broader SAP technical architecture.

• Develop, test, and deploy ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
• Perform code reviews and enforce best practices for modern ABAP development.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Support migration and conversion activities from SAP ECC to S/4HANA.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.
• Participate in agile delivery cycles, sprint planning, and daily stand‑ups.
• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge on ABAP OO, CDS, and RAP frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with SAP security, transport management, and change control processes.
• Stay updated on SAP roadmap, new features, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
• 5+ years of hands‑on SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong expertise in ABAP OO, CDS views, BOPF, and RAP.
• Experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
• Proficiency in ABAP development tools (SE80, ADT, Eclipse).
• Knowledge of SAP technical architecture, transport management, and system landscape.
• Ability to design and implement custom applications and enhancements.
• Understanding of SAP integration technologies (IDocs, BAPIs, OData, ALE).
• Excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
