Work Schedule: A minimum of 15 hours per week is required, with 20 hours preferred. Scheduling is flexible and designed to accommodate the student’s academic commitments; however, some evening and weekend availability is required based on event needs.
Desired Length of Employment: Onboarding completed by December 2026, with a full start in Spring 2027. Long-term commitment through graduation preferred. Winter/summer break availability ideal but not required.
Pay Rate: $14/hr
Job Description
A graduate-level student employee who supports the overall management of the Hurd Welcome
Center, including operations, staffing, training, events, and administration. This is the highest- ranking student position.
Reports to the Facility Coordinator.
- Support hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation of all student staff
- Assist with facility operations, event coordination, and rental invoicing via EPIC
- Collaborate on policy creation, enforcement, and revisions
- Help manage facility inventory and supplies
- File reports and lead special projects as assigned
- Serve as liaison between student team and full-time staff
- Take initiative in improving operations, service quality, and student development
- Other duties as assigned
