Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Python and Playwright to support the testing and quality assurance of Edge Controller and web-based applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions while ensuring product quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Python and Playwright.
- Create and execute functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end test cases.
- Validate application functionality through manual and automated testing.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
- Develop and maintain reusable automation frameworks.
- Execute Web and API testing activities.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support automation execution within CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure adherence to QA best practices and standards.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
- Strong hands-on experience in Python Automation.
- Strong experience with Playwright Automation Framework.
- Experience in Web Application Testing.
- Experience in API Testing.
- Experience in Automation Framework Development.
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Git version control.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Robot Framework.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to Jira and Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of API Automation and Integration Testing.
- Experience in automation code reviews and test design reviews.
