Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator
📍 Auburndale, FL💲 Starting Pay: $17.00/hr📅 3-Month Temporary Contract Through the Holiday Season Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM until finished (Must be flexible to work up to 12-hour shifts as needed)
Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Warehouse Associates / Forklift Operators to join a growing cold storage distribution operation in Auburndale, FL. This is a temporary 3-month assignment through the holidays with an opportunity to gain experience in a brand-new, state-of-the-art warehouse environment. Candidates should be comfortable working in a cold storage environment and have previous experience operating warehouse equipment, selecting orders, and preparing shipments in a fast-paced distribution setting.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and process inbound and outbound shipments
- Perform shipping and receiving duties accurately and efficiently
- Select customer orders and stage products for shipment
- Load and unload trailers safely
- Operate stand-up forklifts and/or reach trucks
- Utilize pallet jacks to move product throughout the facility
- Palletize, wrap, stack, and prepare shipments for transport
- Use RF scanners to track inventory and process orders
- Enter and verify order information within warehouse management systems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and cold storage protocols
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience required
- Experience operating a stand-up forklift or reach truck
- Familiarity with RF scanners
- Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Order entry and inventory tracking experience preferred
- Ability to lift, move, and stack materials throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a refrigerated/cold storage environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
