Job Title: Shipping and Receiving ClerkJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and self-motivated Shipping and Receiving Clerk with a keen attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling materials and ensuring smooth operations within the warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or dollies to move stock and reorganize storage.
- Unload containers, pick orders, and manage UPS shipments.
- Pick materials in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 60 lbs.
- Handle receipts and required documentation accurately.
- Assist in moving/lifting heavy equipment with assistance.
Essential Skills
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs frequently.
- Experience in warehouse operations including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
- Proficiency in using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Strong self-motivation and attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to work in an outdoor atmosphere throughout the year.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and positive attitude.
- Team player capable of assisting around the facility when needed.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Yonkers, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
