Aluminum & Steel MIG Welder/Fitter

We are looking for an experienced MIG Welder/Fitter with strong aluminum welding experience. Youll work in a busy custom fabrication shop, building aluminum and steel components from blueprints and drawings. What Youll Do

• MIG weld aluminum and steel, with a strong focus on aluminum
• Fit and assemble custom fabricated parts
• Read and work from blueprints and drawings
• Measure, mark, and lay out materials
• Use grinders, drills, and other power tools
• Operate plasma cutters, cutting torches, band saws, and shears
• Inspect your work to ensure quality and accuracy
• Keep your work area clean and follow all safety procedures

What Were Looking For

• 24+ years of MIG welding/fitting experience
• Minimum 2 years of aluminum welding experience
• Experience welding both aluminum and steel
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Experience in custom fabrication
• Comfortable using grinders, drills, and metal-cutting equipment
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to Have

• Experience welding or fabricating truck bodies
• Forklift experience
• Additional steel welding experience

Shifts

Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m.Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday, 2:45 p.m. 1:15 a.m.Shift premium provided for afternoons. Why Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
