Job Title: Quality Inspector$23/hr Sunday - Thursday Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated Quality Inspector to join our production team. The role involves conducting very basic visual quality inspections on parts, focusing on identifying one specific defect. This position is repetitive, requiring the inspector to place parts into designated Good or Bad bins after inspection.
Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspections of parts for a specific defect.
- Place inspected parts into appropriate Good or Bad bins.
- Ensure all inspections meet quality standards and specifications.
Essential Skills
- Experience in inspection processes
- Proficiency with calipers and micrometers
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong visual inspection skills

Work EnvironmentWork in a clean, lean manufacturing environment at a facility in Elgin, IL, which has undergone significant expansion to accommodate new departments. The environment is split into two departments; you will be working in the Harting Cable Solutions (HCS) department, which is clean, climate-controlled, well-lit, and organized. Each candidate will have their own station or rotate between stations. The company provides a locker room with locks and PPE for your convenience.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
