Journeyman Electrician Responsibilities
As a Carded Journeyman Electrician, you will:
- Install conduit, conductors, disconnects, panels, and related electrical equipment
- Perform power distribution and tooling connections
- Complete hot work terminations, cable terminations, and final electrical connections as required
- Assist with equipment startup, testing, and troubleshooting
- Follow all safety procedures, including LOTO, hot work permits, and PPE requirements
- Wear and maintain required FR (Flame-Resistant) clothing and arc flash protective equipment when working in designated areas
- Document completed work and support punch-list completion
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Electrical Apprentice Responsibilities
As an Electrical Apprentice, you will
- Assist with material handling, conduit installation, wire pulls, and equipment setup
- Support electrical testing, commissioning, and startup activities
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
- Participate in daily safety meetings and training
- Follow established LOTO, PPE, and site safety requirements
- Complete assigned tasks under the supervision of licensed electricians
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Taylor, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $54.29 - $54.29/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
