Shipping & Inventory Clerk

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Inventory Clerk to support our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating outgoing deliveries, and ensuring materials move efficiently throughout the facility. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse and production environment and take pride in accuracy and organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify incoming materials and merchandise against purchase orders and shipping documents.
- Accurately record shipment information, including quantities, descriptions, and material condition.
- Maintain records of inventory transactions and outgoing shipments.
- Coordinate transportation and shipping schedules for outgoing products.
- Prepare shipments by packaging, labeling, and organizing materials for delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with shipping, receiving, and inventory teams to ensure the smooth flow of materials.
- Follow all safety procedures and material-handling guidelines.
Qualifications
Required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain and update inventory and shipping records.
- Basic knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work 8-10 hour shifts and perform duties in a warehouse/production setting.
Preferred
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment.
- Familiarity with shipping documentation and inventory tracking systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and transportation providers.

Work Environment
This is an onsite position in a manufacturing facility in Colorado Springs, CO. Employees work primarily in shipping, receiving, and inventory areas and should be comfortable handling materials, preparing shipments, and following established safety procedures in a production environment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Colorado Springs, CO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.25 - $20.25/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
