REQUIREMENTS
- Bilingual in Spanish
- MA diploma
- 6+ months of back office experience
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory tasks and manage lab instrumentation.
- Conduct insurance verification and documentation processes.
- Handle referrals efficiently.
- Utilize Athena EMR systems for patient data management.
- Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of lab equipment.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in lab instrumentation and sterilization procedures.
- Experience with Athena EMR and Nextgen systems.
- Bilingual in Spanish, with the ability to read, write, and speak fluently.
- Strong administrative skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience in a women's health setting is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment.
- Flexibility to work at different locations as needed.
Work EnvironmentWork in a fast-paced, high-volume setting where many patients are Spanish-speaking. Flexibility is required to work at either the Van Nuys or Plaza locations. The environment is supportive of entry-level candidates, providing excellent training and opportunities for skill development.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lynwood, CA 90262.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
