Requirements
- Strong practical experience developing web applications with Angular, including working in existing environments, building responsive data-driven interfaces, integrating with backend services and databases, and presenting operational and numerical data.
- Deep knowledge of SQL database design, development, administration, and optimisation, including queries, relational structures, indexing, efficient data retrieval, performance troubleshooting, data integrity, access controls, and secure credential handling.
- Deep knowledge of Apache HTTP Server configuration and management, with practical PHP development and integration experience, including PHP runtime configuration, dependencies, deployment, virtual hosts, permissions, reverse proxies, security, and performance optimisation.
- Experience implementing and troubleshooting reliable computer-to-computer database synchronisation and data exchange, including consistency, conflict and duplicate handling, error recovery, and secure transmission and authentication.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux, including application and service configuration, file systems, permissions, networking, command-line tools, system administration, security, updates, and deployment.
- Good understanding of IT security principles and secure application deployment, with experience implementing and maintaining SSL/TLS certificates for web applications.
- Experience using charting libraries to present charts, graphs, historical trends, structured datasets, and other operational or numerical data clearly and accessibly.
- Strong familiarity with JSON and the ability to parse, transform, validate, and securely handle structured data exchanged between frontend applications, backend services, databases, and other systems.
- Ability to work across application layers, from database development and backend services to frontend interfaces, server administration, security, and system integration.
Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, secure, and maintain web-based Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) for presenting and visualising data stored in SQL databases.
- Develop data-driven user interfaces using Angular and maintain PHP applications.
- Work with SQL databases and develop and maintain database-driven applications.
- Configure and manage Apache web servers and troubleshoot server, PHP application, connectivity, and configuration issues.
- Implement and maintain reliable computer-to-computer database synchronisation and troubleshoot data exchange and communication issues.
- Maintain appropriate application and communications security measures, including digital certificates.
- Develop and maintain data visualisations for operational and numerical information.
