Requirements
- Strong hands-on software engineering experience with Python, plus experience in R
- Proven experience building and deploying machine learning and AI solutions in production
- Strong experience with Snowflake, cloud data platforms, and modern data architectures
- Experience working with Linux, AWS, containers, and data science or ML platforms
- Practical experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and RAG architectures
- Understanding of MLOps, CI/CD, model deployment, monitoring, and automation
- A software engineering mindset focused on scalability, maintainability, testing, and reliability
- Ability to own technical solutions and work effectively across engineering, data, product, and business teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to turn ambiguous business problems into practical AI/ML solutions
- Unrestricted, full-time eligibility to work in Ireland
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy AI/ML models and intelligent applications
- Build and productionise machine learning and GenAI solutions, including RAG-based architectures
- Use Snowflake and modern cloud data platforms to develop scalable data and ML solutions
- Develop robust software using modern engineering, testing, automation, and CI/CD practices
- Work across the ML lifecycle, from experimentation and prototyping through deployment, monitoring, and optimisation
- Build and enhance data pipelines and solutions that support AI/ML workloads and analytics
- Contribute to the evolution of AI/ML platforms, data products, and engineering capabilities
- Improve the performance, scalability, reliability, and quality of data and ML pipelines
- Promote MLOps, DataOps, and DevSecOps principles across development and delivery
- Apply sound practices for data governance, privacy, security, and responsible AI
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for measurable business value from AI and machine learning
