Main duties of the job
- Be responsible for highly specialist assessment, differential diagnosis, formulation of treatment plans, writing of full and clear clinical records and assessment reports reflecting specialist knowledge.
- Provide appropriate specialist intervention, reviewing and patients as appropriate and evaluating the treatment outcomes for each individual.
- Demonstrate good negotiation skills across a range of issues including case management in complex cases.
- Work independently, identifying own training needs and personal objectives through appraisal within an Individual Performance Framework at pre-determined intervals.
- Communicate complex condition related information from assessment to patients, carers, families and members of the multi-disciplinary team/other professions.

Experience
Essential
- At least 3 years post-graduate experience.
Travel
Essential
- Car Driver and Licence Holder as will be required to travel to different sites.
Qualifications
Essential
- Qualification or equivalent HCPC Registration.
- Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent Licence to Practice.
