Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc., a privately-held company based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Paralegal. This full-time position is located at Hobby Lobby’s corporate campus in Oklahoma City and will work in the Legal Department.

Responsibilities
- Provide support to in-house attorneys managing litigation matters
- Assist with factual investigation
- Gather and organize information and documents for attorney review and case preparation
- Contact clients, witnesses, lawyers, and outside vendors to schedule interviews, meetings, and depositions
- Obtain affidavits and other formal statements that may be used as evidence
- Prepare reports of litigation statistics
- Prepare Litigation Hold Directives
- Write reports to assist lawyers with litigation matters and projects
- Organize and maintain documents in electronic filing systems
- Respond to third-party requests/subpoenas for Company records
- Conduct limited research of statutes, regulations, and legal articles
- Draft correspondence and legal documents
- Assist with corporate filings & records
- Backup Legal Assistant as needed, including handling service of process & notification of appropriate Department
Job Description - Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- High level of integrity;
- Understanding of importance of confidentiality in legal environment;
- Positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (SAP experience a plus);
- Strong research and report-generating skills
- Associate’s degree or higher
- Minimum 3 years of Paralegal experience
