- Short Description As a Claims Specialist, your responsibilities will be: Responsible for providing excellent customer care with a client service mindset with the ability to use collaborative and non-adversarial approaches in achieving diverse goals.
- Responsible for evaluating disputed credit card transactions.
- Investigates the disputes cases and determine if the chargeback if appropriate.
- Debit Commercial accounts for chargebacks resolved against merchants.
- Performs account reconciliations as part of the dispute resolution effort.
- Provides merchants with the documentation that supports the debit to their commercial accounts.
- Assists with training and developing new team members as assigned by management.
- Performs special projects and other duties as may be assigned from time to time by management.
- Experience: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
- At least one (1) year of previous experience in claims management and customer service roles.
- Stay focused on central issues Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Identify and resolve problems promptly, and develop alternative solutions to emerging issues.
- English and Spanish oral and written.
- High Knowledge of Word, Excel, and other related software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Highly oriented to details, internal controls, and procedures.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Fast learner with high initiative and proactivity traits.
