Job Purpose Manage the quality performance of external suppliers throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring timely containment, root cause analysis, implementation of corrective actions, and validation of supplier processes to protect Dana’s manufacturing operations and those of OEM customers. Job Duties and Responsibilities APQP Management for Products in Mass Production (in the Live Source system for external suppliers) Manage engineering change requests (ECRs) from suppliers during the mass production phase, ensuring that requirements are met. Qualifications Education
Degree in Industrial Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 3 years working as an SQA and/or in quality or related areas. English: Advanced. A valid U.S. visa and passport are required. Willingness to travel to visit suppliers. Skills Problem-solving methods (QRCI, 8D, etc.) Basic tools: (APQP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC, PPAP). GD&T: Application and interpretation. Knowledge of processes and products. Results-oriented approach. Communication. Teamwork and the ability to work in a matrix environment. Negotiation skills.
