Description
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the design and integration of mechanical systems and components for heavy-duty vehicles. This position will have a strong focus on fluid power systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics.
Key Responsibilities
Design and integrate hydraulic and pneumatic systems for heavy-duty vehicle applications.
Develop and review hydraulic/pneumatic routing and layouts.
Perform engineering calculations to support component sizing and selection.
Select appropriate mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components based on system requirements.
Create and review engineering drawings, specifications, layouts, and bills of material.
Evaluate designs for performance, safety, reliability, and manufacturability.
Troubleshoot mechanical and fluid-power system issues and provide production support.
Collaborate with other engineers, suppliers, manufacturing teams, and technical stakeholders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field.
3+ years of relevant engineering experience.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Oshkosh, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
