- Your New Role Work as a Commercial HVAC Technician based in Clearwater, FL, servicing customers throughout Tampa and surrounding areas.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Service rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, refrigeration equipment, and related heating and cooling systems.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and respond to commercial HVAC service calls.
- Troubleshoot electrical components, refrigerant issues, airflow problems, and HVAC control systems.
- Inspect and repair ductwork, wiring, controls, and mechanical components.
- Read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications to identify equipment problems.
- Use meters, gauges, and other HVAC diagnostic equipment to locate faults and verify repairs.
- Explain equipment issues and recommended repairs to customers in a straightforward, professional manner.
- Complete service reports and document maintenance and repair work.
- Keep your company vehicle clean, stocked, and ready for daily service calls.
- Follow established safety procedures and applicable HVAC and refrigerant handling regulations.
