Duties
- Complete and perform IT service management processes.
- Perform project and change management duties.
- Foster and maintain ongoing client relationships.
- Configure systems.
- Write specifications for new development and system enhancements.
- Perform quality assurance testing to validate system functionality, data accuracy, and compliance with requirements.
- Develop enterprise-level analytical reports and dashboards using Oracle SQL to support cross-functional analysis and strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate cross functional reviews with vendor teams to manage integrations, enhancements, and defect resolution across enterprise systems.
- Lead end-to-end enterprise system implementation initiatives for new site launches, including requirements analysis, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post implementation stabilization.
- Design and implement system interfaces between Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and automation technologies, including AMR, AS/RS, WCS, RFID, and related subsystems.
- Position will have a small team (approx. 2) direct reports holding the title of Analyst, Supply Chain Systems.
Job Requirements
- Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related technical field (willing to accept foreign educational equivalent) and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a Principal Analyst, Supply Chain Systems-related occupation.
- Position requires demonstrable experience in: Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) development and implementation.
- Implementation and support experience with web-based applications, WMS, Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and small parcel shipment systems.
- Expertise in at least one of the following business disciplines: supply chain management, warehousing, transportation, or distribution.
- Using SQL for data analysis, extraction, troubleshooting, and reporting.
- Following formal project management practices and systems development methodologies.
- Information systems technologies including client/server, relational databases, web-based systems, and object-oriented design.
