About this role
What You’ll Be Doing Lead New product development (NPD) design work activities, including but not limited to:
- Research, design, evaluate mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.
- Prepare designs, specifications, analysis and recommendations for development of new enclosed drive products.
Lead new product introdcution (NPI) to plant activities, including but not limited to: - Collaborate with engineers or other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions or provide technical information.
- Lead prodcut analysis for failure, product improvement actions and tests.
- Regular daily engineering support to plant operation, marketing, sales, production management and all other related department.
- What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or advanced course work in areas relevant to product development is required.
- 3+ years of experience working with product design and development and/or engineering research.
- Experience of leading new product development as Engineer role.
- Expert knowledge of design 6 sigma tools - VOC, HOQ, FMEA, SPC, DOE, DVP&R. etc, blank belt is preferred.
- Basic Knowledge of PMP and APQP process.
- Basic knowledge of quality tools - Control plan, MSA, PPAP Proficiency in 3D-CAD system, prefered Siemens NX.
- Ability to work effectively in a high quality, deadline committed environment.

- Good time management and project management skills to organize and plan effectively in developing systems and processes.
