Delivery Service Driver - Candidate Referral Pool
Join our team of professional Delivery Service Drivers and play a critical role in delivering products to customers safely, efficiently, and with exceptional service. This opportunity is designed for individuals interested in current and future driver openings within our delivery operations network.
As a Delivery Service Driver, you will be responsible for operating delivery vehicles, transporting customer orders, and ensuring timely, accurate deliveries while maintaining a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company delivery vehicles and complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Deliver customer orders accurately and on time while providing outstanding customer service.
- Load, unload, and secure products to prevent damage during transportation.
- Process customer returns and required delivery documentation.
- Maintain route schedules and communicate any delivery obstacles or customer concerns to management.
- Follow all company safety standards, transportation regulations, and operating procedures.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and support operational excellence within the delivery team.
- Demonstrate flexibility by learning multiple routes and contributing to a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1-3 years of delivery, transportation, or customer-facing driving experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
- Ability to lift, move, and transport merchandise safely throughout the workday.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Previous experience operating pallet jacks, hand trucks, or similar material handling equipment is a plus.
- Strong attendance, reliability, and commitment to safety.
