About this role
Performs all aspects of transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography on all patient populations, as appropriate.
Principal Accountabilities
- 1. Assists physicians with cardiac catheterization, pacemaker/IABP insertion and diagnostic and interventional peripheral vascular procedures in the Cardiac Cath. Lab.
- 2. Performs post procedure care/groin management including arterial and venous sheath removal.
- 3. Operates, troubleshoots, maintains and performs quality control on radiologic equipment.
- 4. Maintains supply inventory.
- 5. Other duties as assigned
Required
- 1. Graduate of an accredited school of radiology.
- 2. Current AART credential of Radiology
- 3. American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) required.
- 4. One year of Interventional radiology/cath lab experience required.
- 5. Recent hospital experience as a radiology technologist.
