Position Overview

• Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Duration: 6 Months
• Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage and distribute incoming/outgoing mail, scan and track 200-300 packages daily, and deliver mail throughout a multi-floor office.
• Coordinate facility maintenance requests, including building repairs, temperature control issues, and landlord-related concerns.
• Process vendor invoices, maintain shipping/vendor accounts, manage employee access cards, and support day-to-day office operations.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in facilities support, mailroom operations, office services, or administrative support preferred.
• Comfortable using spreadsheets and maintaining accurate records.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the day.
• Capable of lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds.
• Prior experience handling certified mail or shipping services is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
