About this role
We are seeking a Senior EUC Engineer to support and enhance a fully cloud-native digital workplace environment. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on Omnissa Horizon Cloud, Omnissa Workspace ONE, endpoint management, Windows desktop engineering, OS lifecycle management, and end-user support. The ideal candidate will have strong technical depth while also being comfortable providing high-level escalation and onsite support to end users.
Top Skills / Must Haves
- Hands-on experience with Omnissa Horizon Cloud/DaaS for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
- Experience administering Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM
- Experience in Windows desktop support, imaging, patching, troubleshooting, and end-to-end device lifecycle management
- Strong customer service and end-user support experience
- Experience with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Entra ID, and Conditional Access
- Experience managing enterprise Windows OS upgrades and migrations
Responsibilities
- Engineer and support Omnissa Horizon Cloud on Azure, including Horizon Edge, Universal Broker, Unified Access Gateway, desktop pools, and entitlements.
- Manage App Volumes and Dynamic Environment Manager (DEM) for application delivery, user personalization, policies, and profiles.
- Maintain golden images, including builds, patching, optimization, versioning, and rollback.
- Administer Microsoft Intune and Workspace ONE UEM for endpoint configuration, compliance, application deployment, and device management.
- Support Windows and macOS lifecycle management, including upgrades, patching, testing, deployment, remediation, and retirement.
- Manage Windows imaging, Autopilot provisioning, device refreshes, reimaging, and Windows 11 upgrades.
- Troubleshoot laptops, desktops, thin clients, mobile devices, peripherals, Microsoft 365, Wi-Fi, VPN/ZTNA, and VDI issues.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Columbia, MD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
