Business Analyst @ TEKsystems

DescriptionPosition OverviewSeeking an experienced Technical Business Systems Analyst to support the eCommerce Search team. This individual will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, product management, and engineering teams, ensuring business needs are effectively translated into technical requirements and actionable work items. The ideal candidate will possess strong Business Analyst experience within Agile environments, exceptional requirements gathering capabilities, and the ability to drive stakeholder alignment across multiple business functions.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with business stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate business objectives into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications, and process flows.
• Maintain and refine product backlogs to ensure work is prioritized appropriately and ready for development.
• Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, and requirements review sessions.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT), release validation, and deployment readiness activities.
• Ensure traceability between business requirements, development efforts, and testing outcomes.
• Collaborate with Digital, Marketing, eCommerce, Product Management, Customer Support, and technical teams to drive alignment.
• Identify risks, dependencies, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Communicate project progress, business impacts, and delivery updates to stakeholders.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
