Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Pay: Up to $25/hourShift: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift Available
Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support daily warehouse operations by receiving, inspecting, tracking, and organizing incoming shipments. This role is a great fit for someone with basic inventory experience who is comfortable using a computer and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Multiple shifts are available, offering flexibility for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
- Unload incoming delivery trucks and inspect shipments for damage or defects
- Verify quantities, weights, and contents against packing slips, invoices, and purchase orders
- Accurately enter receiving information into inventory management systems or daily logs
- Label, sort, and store products in designated warehouse locations
- Maintain organized inventory and stockroom areas
- Communicate shipment discrepancies or damages to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with general warehouse and material-handling duties as needed
Qualifications
- Basic inventory experience required
- Basic computer literacy required
- Ability to accurately verify and record shipment information
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Ronkonkoma, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
