How you’ll make an impact in this role
- This is a full time position with a schedule of Tuesday through Saturday, with 1 annual holiday.
- Evaluate patients with physical, emotional, cognitive, and/or psychosocial deficits.
- Design and implement patient-centered, effective treatment plans using appropriate modalities.
- Assess the patient's ability to safely perform independent living skills.
- Minimum weekends and holiday requirements.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration
- Required Credential(s):
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (OTR) credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. A valid license pending letter will be accepted until license is issued
Education
- Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
Work Experience
- A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is preferred.
