In this management position, you will take on the operational and strategic leadership of our newly aligned Business Partnering team within Controlling. Acting as a sparring partner to the executive management and serving as an interface to the operational departments, you and your team will be responsible for strategic advisory, preparation of decision-making materials, and the commercial management of the business, while driving the further development of organizational structures in this area.
Your new adventure
- You advise the executive management and business units as an equal peer on all financial, operational, and strategic matters.
- You lead the team of Controlling Business Partners both functionally and disciplinarily, foster their professional development, and establish a modern business partnering mindset.
- You are responsible for integrated corporate planning (budgeting, forecasting, multi-year planning) and systematically advance commercial reporting.
- You analyze variances, evaluate business cases and investment projects, and derive concrete actions to improve performance.
- You actively support the further development of the entire finance organization and play an active role in shaping future structures and processes.
Your Experience and Skills
- Successfully completed university degree in business administration, economics, or a related field with a focus on controlling/finance, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in controlling or finance, including at least 5 years of leadership experience.
- In-depth knowledge of standard ERP systems (SAP is an advantage) as well as experience with BI and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong analytical skills, a sharp business acumen, and entrepreneurial vision.
- Ability to communicate complex financial matters clearly, concisely, and tailored to the target audience.
- Hands-on mentality and the willingness to support the team operationally when needed.
- Confident demeanor, negotiation skills, a strong drive to shape things, and an openness to new processes and technologies.
- Fluent in German and English for successful collaboration within an international group environment.
We offer
You will be offered an exciting position in an international company with many interesting benefits and diverse development opportunities. The minimum salary for this position is EUR 82,967.50 gross/year in accordance with the collective agreement for the metal industry. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we offer an attractive and performance-related salary with corresponding overpayment.
