And not just for our customers, but for every member of our team too.Job PurposeSupervise couriers and pick-up & delivery processes and activities to provide safe, secure, on-time and accurate transportation and delivery between locations of mail/ parcel including local mail, small packages or legal documents in line with the business strategy and requirements, corporate guidelines and policies. Key Tasks
- Supervise and optimize end-to-end courier operations, ensuring efficient pick-up, delivery and transportation processes.
- Lead, coach and develop courier teams, ensuring effective onboarding, development, motivation and performance management.
- Plan and manage delivery routes, traffic volumes and resources to maximize productivity, service quality and cost efficiency.
- Monitor operational KPIs, prepare performance reports and drive continuous improvement through process, system and service enhancements.
- Manage delivery bases and external service partners, ensuring compliance with service standards and operational requirements.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving operational issues promptly and coordinating effectively with internal stakeholders.
- Support budget execution by monitoring operational costs, including overtime, while maintaining safe, compliant and well-maintained work environments.
- Evaluate transportation assets, equipment and operational performance, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and overall business results.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in logistics, courier operations, or last-mile delivery, with experience in leading or coordinating teams considered a strong asset.
- Strong leadership, coaching and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English (written and spoken).
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), with the ability to monitor operational performance and analyze data.
