From understanding processes and modelling data to defining solution architectures and validating new concepts, you will provide the architectural leadership that enables ideas to move successfully into production. Your key responsibilities include
- Partner with global and regional stakeholders to understand operational challenges, uncover root causes and translate business needs into clear technology and architecture requirements.
- Shape scalable data and digital solutions that connect business processes, data and technology while delivering measurable and sustainable value.
- Design robust data models and structures that establish consistent definitions, relationships and standards across systems, platforms and data products.
- Define end-to-end solution architectures that balance scalability, integration, interoperability, security, privacy, reliability, data quality and cost.
- Transform concepts into implementation-ready designs, providing product, engineering and platform teams with clear architectural direction and specifications.
- Explore and validate new ideas through focused proofs of concept, assessing technical feasibility, data readiness and potential business value before solutions move to scale.
- Drive global standardization and reuse, developing common data definitions, reference models, semantic standards and interfaces that simplify and accelerate delivery.
- Assess AI, digital technologies, platforms and vendors, selecting the most effective approach for each business challenge and ensuring technology choices create meaningful long-term value.
What are we looking for from you?
- 5+ years of relevant experience across data, analytics, architecture, digital products or enterprise technology, including responsibility for complex cross-functional initiatives.
- Hands-on experience in modern data ecosystems. Relevant technologies may include Snowflake, Databricks, Azure data services, Power BI/Tableau, Python and SQL; equivalent platforms are acceptable.
- Strong business and operational acumen, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and connect process, decisions, data and technology.
- Deep capability in logical and canonical data modelling, data contracts, semantic layers, metadata, MDM, reference data and data-product principles.
- Enterprise and solution architecture expertise across data, analytics, digital products and AI/GenAI, including integration, governance, security, privacy, reliability and cost.
- Product focus, rapid prototyping and the ability to produce architecture and specifications implementable by established engineering and product teams.
- Ability to challenge, influence and align senior stakeholders across functions and regions without formal authority.
- Experience translating business or operational challenges into data models, architecture and implemented solutions in a global or multi-regional environment, with demonstrated stakeholder influence from discovery through adoption.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data, engineering or a related discipline; postgraduate study or equivalent professional development is advantageous.
- Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English
