What to expect: You will be responsible for the calibration of emission-related functions for passenger car powertrains, including hybrid and conventional powertrains To ensure compliance with country-specific emissions regulations, you will perform calibration activities on vehicles as well as on engine, chassis dynamometer and powertrain test benches You will define, plan and supervise vehicle tests on internal and external chassis dynamometers and conduct vehicle testing on proving grounds and public roads You will analyze test results and derive the corresponding calibration data You will participate in test drives to validate and verify calibration data You will prepare your results and present them in internal and external project meetings
What you bring
You have successfully completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a comparable engineering discipline You have relevant professional experience in powertrain development, particularly in calibration or emissions development Knowledge of development and calibration tools such as ETAS INCA, AVL Concerto and UniPlot is desirable You have an independent, methodical and structured approach to work You demonstrate a customer-oriented mindset as well as flexibility, strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team You hold a valid Class B driving license Very good Czech language skills (minimum C1) and good English language skills (minimum B2) are required German language skills (minimum B1) are considered an advantage At Bertrandt, we place great importance on equal treatment and equal opportunity.
