JOB DESCRIPTION
- Associate Director AI Strategy EY-Parthenon | EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) Role Overview EY GDS is seeking a highly experienced Associate Director – AI Strategy to lead the development and execution of AI-led business transformation engagements within EY-Parthenon’s global strategy consulting practice.
- This role sits at the intersection of strategy, artificial intelligence, generative AI, data analytics, digital transformation and value creation.
- The Associate Director will partner with global EY-Parthenon leadership and client executives to shape enterprise AI strategies, identify growth and efficiency opportunities, establish AI governance frameworks and deliver large-scale AI transformation programmes.
- The individual will play a critical role in building EY-Parthenon’s AI Strategy capabilities across GDS while supporting client pursuits, thought leadership, innovation initiatives and high-impact transformation engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- AI Strategy & Enterprise Transformation Lead AI strategy engagements for Fortune 500 and private equity-backed organisations across sectors.
- Advise C-suite executives on AI-enabled growth, operating model transformation, productivity enhancement and innovation opportunities.
- Develop enterprise AI and Generative AI roadmaps aligned to business and value creation objectives.
- Conduct AI maturity assessments and identify capability gaps across people, process, technology and governance.
- Define target operating models for AI adoption at enterprise scale.
- Support post-merger integration and value creation programmes through AI-enabled business transformation.
- Generative AI & Agentic AI Advisory Identify, prioritise and evaluate AI, GenAI and Agentic AI use cases.
- Design AI-driven value realisation frameworks and business cases.
- Advise clients on Large Language Models (LLMs), AI platforms, intelligent automation, digital workers and emerging technologies.
- Support enterprise-wide GenAI adoption strategies and scaling approaches.
- Collaborate with technology teams to translate strategy into execution roadmaps.
- AI Governance, Risk & Responsible AI Design and implement Responsible AI frameworks.
- Establish AI governance models, controls, policies and oversight mechanisms.
- Assess AI-related risks including data privacy, cybersecurity, model bias, explainability and regulatory compliance.
- Support clients in developing Trusted AI and AI assurance programmes.
- Advise executive stakeholders on emerging AI regulations and industry best practices.
- Private Equity & Value Creation Support Partner with EY-Parthenon value creation teams to identify AI-enabled EBITDA improvement opportunities.
- Support commercial due diligence and technology diligence engagements from an AI perspective.
- Develop AI-led transformation opportunities for portfolio companies.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, process automation and operational efficiency.
- Business Development & Market Leadership Lead proposal development and client presentations.
- Support account growth and strategic pursuit initiatives.
- Build reusable AI strategy methodologies, assets and accelerators.
- Publish thought leadership, white papers and market insights.
- Represent EY-Parthenon at industry forums and client events.
- Leadership & People Development Lead multidisciplinary teams of strategy consultants, data scientists, AI specialists and transformation professionals.
- Coach and mentor Managers, Senior Managers and Consultants.
- Drive capability development within the AI Strategy practice.
- Support recruitment, workforce planning and talent development initiatives.
- Foster an innovation-led and collaborative culture across global teams.
- Expected Scope of Responsibility Independently manage multiple large consulting engagements.
- Own senior client relationships and executive stakeholder interactions.
- Drive complex workstreams with minimal Partner oversight.
- Contribute to practice revenue growth.
- Build scalable AI consulting capabilities across EY GDS.
- Collaborate with global EY-Parthenon, Consulting, Technology, Data & Analytics and EY.ai teams.
- Preferred Experience Essential 15+ years of consulting, strategy, technology, analytics or digital transformation experience.
- 5+ years leading enterprise-scale AI, analytics or transformation programmes.
- Demonstrated experience working with C-suite stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of strategic planning and business transformation.
- Experience leading global delivery and distributed teams.
- Preferred Experience in strategy consulting firms such as EY-Parthenon, EY Consulting, MBB, Big Four, Accenture Strategy, Kearney, Strategy& or equivalent.
- Experience supporting Private Equity, Corporate Strategy or Value Creation engagements.
Experience with Generative AI, Agentic AI, Large Language Models, AI governance, data strategy, advanced analytics, intelligent automation, digital workforce solutions and cloud-based AI platforms. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Statistics, Business or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA from a reputed institution. Master’s degree in AI, Data Science, Analytics, Technology Management or a related field. Professional certifications in AI, Cloud, Analytics or Agile methodologies.
