- Credits & Incentives Pre-Wailing Wage & Apprenticeship (PWA) Compliance Team – Indirect Tax - Credits & Incentives (C&I) Role – Tax Advance Analyst – Prevailing Wages & Apprentices (PWA) Credits Job Description – Coordinate and review PWA and Credits & Incentives compliance workstreams from planning through delivery.
- Apply technical knowledge of prevailing wages, registered apprenticeship, and applicable tax incentive requirements to support engagement execution.
- Review and analyze certified payroll, wage and fringe data, worker classifications, workforce hours, and supporting compliance documentation.
- Review PWA calculations and identify wage/fringe shortfalls, apprenticeship-related exceptions, data discrepancies, and documentation gaps.
- Perform quality reviews of Staff deliverables and provide technical guidance and review comments to junior team members.
- Take ownership of assigned workstreams, trackers, workpapers, exception logs, and project deliverables with limited supervision.
- Research and interpret applicable regulatory guidance and escalate complex or judgmental matters to Managers.
- Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders across geographies to ensure timely completion of deliverables and resolution of open items.
- Support project management activities including work planning, status reporting, budget tracking, and engagement administration.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation across PWA and C&I engagements.
- Develop and maintain templates, methodologies, process documentation, and best practices to support consistent execution.
- Coach and support Staff through on-the-job guidance, knowledge sharing, and review feedback.
- Advanced Analyst – Expectations Take end-to-end ownership of assigned PWA/C&I workstreams with limited supervision.
- Demonstrate strong working knowledge of PWA compliance requirements and engagement processes.
- Ensure accurate, consistent, and timely completion of deliverables.
- Perform first-level review and provide effective guidance to Staff.
- Identify compliance issues and determine when matters require Manager/technical escalation.
- Effectively coordinate with internal teams, contractors/subcontractors, and client stakeholders, as applicable.
- Drive standardization, efficiency, and automation within assigned processes.
- Demonstrate accountability and the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Contribute to team capability development and knowledge sharing.
Overall Objective Serve as an experienced PWA and C&I compliance professional responsible for independently managing assigned workstreams, reviewing Staff deliverables, identifying and resolving compliance issues, coordinating project activities, and supporting Managers in delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality client engagements.
