- Requisition ID: 78913 Description Skyworks has an opening for an Equipment Technician at our Richardson TX assembly facility.
- The candidate’s prime responsibility will be to maintain, troubleshoot and repair assembly equipment in a fast paced, high mix factory.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on various pieces of assembly equipment (such as, but not limited to Datacon die attach, K&S wirebond, Disco saws, ASM SMT equipment) Assist with equipment installation / de-installation / moves.
- Work closely with process engineers and operators within the factory Assist in LEAN activities (organization, 5S, continuous improvement) Position requires working a compressed work week.
- Required Experience and Skills Related Associate Degree or equivalent military experience Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
- This role will require supporting a manufacturing facility that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Position will demand large amounts of time working in a cleanroom environment Lifting (up to 50lb) and standing will be required.
- Strong problem solving skills, and hands on ability are critical to this position – must be comfortable troubleshooting electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
- The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $23.65 - $42.88 per hour.
- Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
