Today, as we continue our exciting expansion across the UK, we’re looking for passionate, driven individuals to help shape the future of prestige beauty in one of the world’s most dynamic retail markets.

The Opportunity As our Transport Executive, you will support and manage transport operations across our UK logistics network, playing a key role in driving operational efficiency, strengthening transport partner relationships, and ensuring transport activities support wider business objectives. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for coordinating retail transport, central transport operations, freight forwarders, and carrier services to guarantee the efficient, cost-effective, and timely movement of goods across the supply chain.

Acting as the primary point of contact for all transport-related matters within the Operations & Logistics team, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, carriers, freight forwarders, and retail partners to resolve operational challenges, maintain service levels, improve transport performance, and ensure compliance with relevant UK transport regulations and company policies.

  • Please note this position is based on-site in Coventry, UK.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Coordinate and oversee transport activities supporting retail operations, ensuring timely deliveries to stores, distribution centres, and other designated locations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for transport-related queries, escalations, and operational issues within the UK Operations & Logistics team.
  • Measure delivery performance (including on-time delivery, delays, and failures) against SLAs, booking slots, and operational priorities.
  • Proactively manage transport exceptions and implement corrective actions to minimise disruption.
  • Facilitate central transport activities to ensure the efficient movement of goods between warehouses, distribution centres, and suppliers.
  • Partner closely with warehouse teams to align transport availability with inbound and outbound operational requirements.
  • Coordinate shipment progress and work with freight forwarders and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate transport documentation and customs-related requirements are met.
  • Review forwarder performance jointly with the warehouse team against service levels, costs, and operational expectations.
  • Oversee day-to-day relationships with third-party carriers, hauliers, and courier providers, overseeing bookings, schedules, and service requirements.
  • Track performance against agreed KPIs and investigate service failures or discrepancies.
  • Take ownership of issues from identification to resolution, providing timely updates to stakeholders and escalating significant operational risks where necessary.
  • Validate carrier invoices against agreed rates, shipment records, and service delivery, investigating billing discrepancies in coordination with internal finance teams.
  • Prepare regular transport performance reports covering service levels, costs, delivery exceptions, and carrier KPIs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve freight efficiency, reduce expenditure, enhance vehicle utilisation, consolidate shipments, and support budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
  • Ensure transport activities comply with UK transport legislation, health and safety requirements, company policies, and contractual standards.
  • Review carrier documentation and insurance, identify operational risks, maintain accurate records, and contribute to standard operating procedures.
  • Identify and implement sustainability initiatives that support the business's Corporate Social Responsibility agenda.

What you’ll bring…

  • You will be a commercially minded operator who can deliver the smooth, efficient, and cost-effective management of UK transport operations in a complex retail environment.
  • Collaborative and action-oriented, you will provide a single point of accountability for transport coordination, stakeholder communication, service performance, and issue resolution across the Operations & Logistics function.
  • Previous experience in transport, logistics, distribution, supply chain, or a similar operational role ideally in a retail environment.
  • Experience coordinating transport operations involving carriers, hauliers, freight forwarders, or third-party logistics providers.
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple transport activities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to liaise across internal teams and external service providers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of operational issues through to resolution.
  • Good analytical skills, with the ability to review transport performance, identify trends, and support cost-control initiatives.
  • Understanding of UK transport regulations, carrier compliance, and relevant freight documentation.
