About this role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Delivery Driver to join our team at our Kirkwood, United States location (485 S Kirkwood Rd). In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages to customers while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer service. You will play a crucial part in ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and in excellent condition.
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and company safety policies
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and minimize fuel consumption
- Load, unload, and transport packages of varying sizes and weights to designated locations
- Obtain customer signatures and handle payment transactions as required
- Maintain accurate delivery records and update tracking information in real-time
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify maintenance issues
- Provide professional and courteous customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving delivery concerns
- Navigate using GPS and mapping systems to locate delivery addresses accurately
- Adhere to strict time management protocols to meet daily delivery targets
- Report any vehicle damage, accidents, or safety hazards to management immediately
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar transportation role
- Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and mobile delivery applications
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Physical capability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Familiarity with safety protocols and compliance regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliveries efficiently
- Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Reliability and punctuality in meeting delivery schedules
