About this role
Position Summary

The ideal candidate views test automation as a software engineering discipline and has experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable automated testing frameworks for enterprise applications.
The Senior Test Automation Engineer is responsible for establishing and owning the automated quality engineering capabilities that support the long-term success of the SPM Cloud platform. The role will initially focus on gaining knowledge of the testing framework, release processes, validation approaches, and quality controls used during implementation while helping prepare STERIS to assume operational ownership.
As the platform transitions to an internally managed product, this position will become responsible for defining and executing the automated testing strategy, quality governance framework, release assurance processes, test automation architecture, and quality engineering standards that support ongoing software development and product enhancements. The role will serve as a key contributor in ensuring software quality, reliability, scalability, and delivery excellence across future platform initiatives.
