Job Title: Sample Registration SpecialistJob DescriptionThis role involves providing daily customer service by assisting with orders, processing, pricing issues, and sample receiving. The position requires handling approximately 250 to 350 samples per day and involves significant interaction with customers and internal team members.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with orders, processing, pricing issues, and sample receiving.
- Handle approximately 250 to 350 samples per day.
- Answer phone calls from customers, coworkers, and field client calls.
- Work with couriers to deliver products and samples.
- Set up conference calls with vendors, managers, and internal employees.
- Direct customers to the correct personnel for complex issues.
- Locate information on samples for customers and provide accurate answers.
- Perform necessary tasks to receive samples and provide information regarding samples and orders.
- Perform correct documentation using computer software such as LIM, CRM, and other internal software.
Essential Skills
- Strong customer service and support skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills is a must.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with laboratory work is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in a chemistry-related field is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation such as GC, HPLC, IC, ICP, ICPMS, etc.
- Experience with food, environmental, water, consumer, liquid, powder, and other samples is highly preferred.
Work EnvironmentThe role involves working with customers, sales, and laboratory personnel in an office setting. The position requires 40 to 45 hours per week with a flexible work schedule, typically from Wednesday to Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The dress code is business casual.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Berlin, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
