Bayshore Animal Clinic is seeking an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) with at least three years of veterinary experience to join our collaborative general practice team. - Provide hands-on veterinary nursing and patient care during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Perform venipuncture, place IV catheters, and assist with in-house laboratory diagnostics.
- Support surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring, patient preparation, and recovery.
- Monitor hospitalized patients and maintain accurate medical records.
- Educate clients on medications, treatment plans, discharge instructions, and home care.
- Collaborate with veterinarians and support staff to deliver efficient, high-quality patient care.
- Mentor and support veterinary assistants and technicians while sharing clinical knowledge and best practices.
- Help improve hospital workflows, uphold medical protocols, and maintain a positive team environment.
