About this role
- A Warehouse Associate is responsible for the accurate manufacturing of wire rope slings and custom lifting assemblies according to product specifications.
- This role will require strong attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures and the ability to work with various fabrication tools and equipment while maintaining quality and efficiency standards.
- Manufacture wire rope slings and custom assemblies with precision and attention to detail.
- Measure, cut, and assemble wire rope and related components according to job specifications.
- Operate hydraulic presses, cut-off saws, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Use hand tools such as saws, hammers, crimpers, and measuring tools during the fabrication process.
- Inspect finished assemblies to ensure quality standards and proper construction.
- Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards when operating machinery and tools.
- Navigate basic computer systems to process job orders, input fabrication data, and track production.
- Safely operate forklifts to move materials and completed assemblies within the shop when required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support a safe and efficient fabrication environment.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding job status, material needs, or fabrication issues.
- Prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Assist other fabrication team members as needed to support department workflow.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety, equipment use, and fabrication operations.
- Participate in training programs to stay updated on fabrication techniques, safety standards, and equipment use.
