Main duties of the job
As a Salaried GP, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred primary care within a supportive and collaborative team.
Responsibilities will include:
Routine and urgent GP consultations Long-term condition management Home visits on a shared basis Participation in the duty doctor rota Managing clinical correspondence, referrals, and prescriptions Supporting clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives Working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care Contributing to education and teaching activities where appropriate We actively encourage our GPs to pursue areas of special interest and support involvement in leadership, teaching, research, and quality improvement projects.

Personal Qualities Essential
The successful candidate will: Enjoy working as part of a supportive and collaborative team. Deliver compassionate, evidence-based patient care. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Be enthusiastic about contributing ideas and helping develop practice services. Value continuous learning and professional development. Be committed to providing high-quality care for patients. Newly qualified GPs are warmly welcomed and will receive excellent support, supervision, and mentoring.
Qualifications Essential
GMC Registration with Licence to Practise. Inclusion on the NHS Performers List. MRCGP. CCT or equivalent, and eligibility to practise independently in the UK. Appropriate medical defence indemnity.
